The Anjuna Flea Market was originally an outdoor garage sale started by hippies who fell in love with Goa, decided to stay on indefinitely, and needed to raise a little cash to get by. Now a full-fledged affair each Wednesday, it has grown to be one of Goa’s most loved excursions.

Itinerary

Love a good flea market but hate traffic? Stick with us. We avoid the congested roads leading to the Market by taking you there via the ocean. We depart at 0900h by boat, and arrive at the Market around 1030h. Take a leisurely stroll to explore the colourful stalls stocking everything from traditional mirrorwork fabrics and funky jewellery to music, paintings, and electronic equipment. At lunchtime we take the boat along the palm-fringed coastline to nearby deserted Morjim beach for a tasty Goan lunch and some rest and relaxation. Depart for your return journey at 1600h.
