Day 1Fort Kochi

On arrival, you will be met by our representative at the airport who will accompany you to
your hotel in Fort Kochi. You will have the afternoon at leisure, in the evening you will witness the traditional Kathakali dance, which involves the stunning use of masks, and make up.

Day 2Fort Kochi

Morning after breakfast, will do a tour of Cochin City. During the tour you will visit Fort Cochin with its wealth of colonial architecture. The extraordinary Chinese fishing nets are a sight to behold. These unusual, elegantly balanced, shore operated fishnets are 10 m high and rumored to be of Chinese origin, possibly introduced by Zhang He. A visit to the St Francis Church is also important, since it is the oldest European church in India built in 1503. Vasco de Gama was originally buried here, before he was moved to Lisbon. The Jewish synagogue in Cochin (Closed on Saturdays) was built in 1568 and is of great historical importance. No visit to Cochin is complete without viewing its attractive collections. You will also visit the Mattancherry or Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays). It was constructed by the Portuguese and gifted to the Raja of Kochi in 1555. Overnight stay at Fort Kochi.

Day 3Fort Kochi - Munnar (150 kms/ 4 hours 30 mins)

After breakfast check out and proceed to Munnar, drive through the beautiful landscapes and tea plantations. You will arrive and check in to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 4Munnar

After breakfast proceed for a local sightseeing of Munnar and on the way visit tea plantation in Munnar. Tea lovers will be particularly fascinated by the various stages of tea processing.
You will also see the local cardamom plantation. Spices have always been an important source of trade for the region, and spices from the region are renowned all over the world. Further proceed to hill station located at a height of 1800 meters above sea level & is famous for its mineral water springs and the beautiful landscape it offers. Later return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 5Munnar - Thekkady (150 kms/4 hrs)

Today after breakfast, you will leave for Thekkady; the region of Periyar is synonymous with natural beauty and is home to a tiger reserve, abundant wildlife and forests. Today you will get to visit the spice plantation at Periyar; the plantations are captivating, with each section cultivating different spices. You will return to your hotel and spend the night.

Day 6Thekkady - Kumarakom (150 kms/ 4 hrs)

Early morning leave for Periyar Lake to enjoy the Boat ride in the Sanctuary (Optional). Apart from Elephants, the other animals to be seen in the Periyar sanctuary are Gaur, Wild Pigs, Sambar, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Dole or Indian Wild Dog and very rarely, a Tiger. Later return to the Hotel for breakfast & then you will leave for Kumarakom, this is an idyllic set of islands Vembanad Lake in Kerala where you will have a nice opportunity to unwind on the backwaters of Kerala. After check in at the Hotel you will have the opportunity to enjoy and exclusive sunset cruise (Optional). Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 7Kumarakom - Alleppey Houseboat (35 kms/ 1 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey known as the Venice of the East. Also known as the bacjwater capital of Kerala. In Alleppey you will get a wonderful Experience of Kerala moving houseboats (kettuvallom) with full board of meals (lunch, tea, snacks, dinner and breakfast). (Overnight at houseboat in Alleppey).

Day 8Alleppey - Mararikulam (25 kms/ 45 min)

Marari originates from “Mararikula”, one of the local fishing villages, where life still goes non much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going out to sea each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. Completely new to the holiday maker. Marari offer endless miles of superb sand beaches backed by swaying palms, virgin territory where you can experience the local charm and traditional Kerala Hospitality at its beast. Not yet you need to spend the whole of you holiday in seclusion, you couldn’t be in a better location for exploring the marvelous backwaters, where the tranquility, the stunning scenery and the feeling of being transported back in time, make it superb relaxing and inspiring experience.

Day 9Marari

This day free for leisure at resort.

Day 10Marari - Cochin (70 kms/ 02 hrs)

Proceed to Cochin Airport for onward journey as per the flight timing.
